We would like to outline the process for restoring the front brownstone facade as follows: Removal and Resurfacing: We will chip off the entire existing brownstone layer from the facade and resurface it from scratch, adhering to the existing design. Following this, we will apply a slurry coat, followed by scratch coats. Rebuilding Damaged Details: Only the damaged design details on the surround, ornamental frame of the bottom part, door, and window will be rebuilt. The original ornamentals will remain intact, and we will touch them up using new brownstone landmark-approved coating. Color Approval Process: Samples of the brownstone will be provided and attached to the scratch coats for final color approval from the LPC. Once approval is obtained, we will proceed with the application of the final coat of brownstone cement.
